Q: When can Preferred RV spots be parked?

Preferred RV parking will be park Thursday, July 24th after 5pm until 10pm. Gates will be closed at 10pm. Late arrivals will be parked the next morning after 10am.

Q: If I arrive earlier than 10am on July 25th, will I be parked earlier?

No. You are welcome to line up for the general RV parking. However no one will be parked before 10am.

Q: Will lining up for General RV parking get me a closer RV spot?

You will be parked in the order you arrive/line up starting at the top of the general RV parking area, considering all the variables of your RV size, length, slide outs, and condition of the festival site. In the event of excessive rain and mud, the general RV area will be parked accordingly.

Q: Can my friends and I have our RVs parked beside each other?

Yes. But ONLY if you arrive together. Spaces will not be saved and are on a first come/first parked basis.

Q: Are there full hook ups for camping?

No, this festival is dry camping and must be self contained. If you want full hook ups, just down the road is a campground you can reserve a site at.

Q: Can I run a generator?

Yes. Quiet time is after 11pm and before 7am. During these times generators are not permitted to be running. If your generators are loud, please be considerate of your neighbors.

Q: I have a diesel motorhome, can I run the onboard generator?

Yes, as long as you have an exhaust stack to direct the exhaust up and away from your neighbors. Quiet time hours between 11pm and 7am still apply.

Q: I need to have a source of electricity for a medical divice during the night. Can I run my generator?

No. We ask that you book an RV site at the campground with the services you require.

Q: I have a handicap placard, is there a designated place for me to park my RV or car?

Yes. There is designated handicap parking indicated on the site map. Handicap car parking is in the main part of the festival with easier access to the stage area. You must have a placard to park here. RV handicap parking is the closest to the festival entrance in the RV parking area. Please reference the festival site map.

Q: Is there a sani-dump for RVs near the festival site?

Yes. There is a sani-dump in the campground just up the road from the festival. You will pass it on your way in and out of the festival grounds.

Q: Is there a place to get fresh water for my RV so I dont have to haul the extra weight?

Yes. There is a bulk water filling station in Westlock. Please reference the town map for the location.

Q: Can I bring my dog to the festival?

Yes. Dogs/pets are permitted ONLY at your RV and in the camping area and are NOT permitted on the main festival grounds. Pets MUST be kept on leash at all times or contained at/in your RV. If you are caught not cleaning up after your pet, you may be asked to leave. Please be prepared to care for your pet in all weather types, including excessive heat. Do not leave your pets locked in an RV without air conditioning.

Q: Are service dogs permitted at the festival?

Yes. But they need to have the proper certification and be wearing an authorized service dog vest. You will be asked to present proper certification for your dog before being allowed on the festival grounds.

Q: What if my RV or car gets parked further from the festival entrance than I can walk?

There will be a phone number posted at the main gate to the festival for the shuttle. Take a picture of it as you enter the grounds Please contact the shuttle driver and they will be happy to assist you.

Q: Is the festival family friendly?

Of course! Everyone of all ages are welcome. The only area that is restricted is the beer gardens where only adults (18+) are permitted. Don’t forget your ID. If you are asked for ID and you don’t have it, you will be denied service.

Q: Do I need cash for the festival?

While cards may be accepted at the vendors and the food trucks, the festival itself; (admission, merchandise, concession, beer gardens and auctions) are cash only. There is an ATM on site for your convenience. Cash is King! 😉

Q: Is there a shuttle service to and from the hotels?

Yes. There is a FREE shuttle to and from 3 (three) of the hotels in town. Please reference the site map to see where the pick up and drop off locations are.

Q: What’s the weather going to be like? What type of clothes should I wear?

Best answer… plan for all 4 seasons! It’s an outdoor Northern Alberta festival, so be prepared for everything.
